An Intuitive Abstract Painting Workshop
LIVE | ONLINE | FREE
What if making art wasn’t about getting it right, but discovering what’s possible?
In the spirit of freedom and play, and in partnership with Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, we’ll explore color and create abstract art with acrylics.
Inspired by music, storytelling, and creative expression, we’ll use color, words, and marks to create our own visual stories. We’ll see how just three colors can open up a world of possibilities through mixing, experimenting, and a little “Mother Color” magic.
This isn’t a step-by-step class where everyone makes the same painting. It’s an invitation to let go of perfectionism, trust your creative instincts, and discover the joy of making art without a plan.
No painting experience necessary! Beginners, seasoned artists, recovering perfectionists, and creative misfits are all welcome.
What to expect
Let's paint braver, not better!
I’ve been a devoted Brandi Carlile fan for over 20 years, and bringing that music into a shared painting experience still feels deeply special and a little surreal. There’s something powerful about letting songs, stories, and brushstrokes meet in the same space.
This workshop is all about joy, play, and creative release. I’m expecting plenty of laughter, a bit of beautiful chaos, community connection, and maybe even some singing, dancing, and full-on creative freedom.
After two sold-out Red Rocks workshop and two sold-out session as Brandi’s Mothership Festival in Florida, it’s become clear how magical this experience feels when we create together. The openness, the energy, the willingness to show up fully, it’s something I never take for granted.
