Meet Becky Springer

Before I picked up a paintbrush in my mid 30s, I was a longtime college educator working with marginalized communities, burnt out, and far removed from creative spaces. However, when I followed my whispers and invited art back into my life as a daily practice, everything changed. 

I am now an artist and instructor who gently guides others in intuitive abstract painting as a soulful practice and act of radical joy. 

I believe art heals. I believe we’re all artists. I believe making art is fundamental to my wellbeing. I believe in the power of creating art within inclusive and welcoming communities. 

I believe in you. Yes, YOU.

We'll take over the lush secluded Nereus Retreat Center for 7 days & 6 nights of making art where the jungle meets the ocean in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. We’ll lodge in a private retreat center with our own saltwater pool, surrounded by lush rainforest, and steps to the Pacific Coastline.
