We’ll lodge in an expansive and beautiful estate nestled atop a hill on an island overlooking the vast Mediterranean Sea.

This isn’t a paint by numbers class. Those serve their purpose, but I don’t want you to paint like me or everyone else. Here you’ll tell your own story and explore your unique style.

I infuse the space with loving guidance and encouragement, but the heart of the experience is the community we form together. The collection of creatives who lift and support each other.

I anticipate lots of laughter, making a big 'ol mess, and maybe some dancing!

Our retreat will take place in the stunning seaside location of Donkey Bay Club, a boutique villa overlooking the shores of Zakynthos and the vast Mediterranean Sea. Just a 10-minute walk away, the calm Bouka Beach beckons, accessible via a stairway that winds down the hillside. It truly is a picturesque backdrop for both relaxation and artistic inspiration.

This boutique venue offers a stately six-bedroom villa alongside a six-bedroom stone tower, marrying modern amenities with timeless allure.

Every room is a cocoon of comfort, equipped, all complemented by chic boho décor. Large glass doors frame captivating views, whether of the venue terraces, the gleaming infinity pool, or the boundless sea.

During your leisure time, you can revel in the stunning infinity pool or unwind in the soothing embrace of a jacuzzi. The two-bedroom villa even offers a private pool. Adding to the charm is a wooden gazebo, perfectly positioned for basking in the Grecian sun.

Experience the wealth of Ionian cuisine with tantalizing dishes prepared by our private chef. The venue earned its foodie destination moniker thanks to its family recipes passed down through generations and fresh ingredients sourced from local markets or grown on-site.

Start your mornings with a nutritious breakfast spread, coffee, tea, milk, and fresh juices. For lunch, refuel with a light salad, or opt for the traditional baked feta, various platters, pasta, and seafood courses.

Dinner brings a true Ionian feast, starting with an appetizer such as Zante Bruschettas, followed by incredible Mediterranean delicacies. Finally, pair a sweet treat with a crisp white. Enjoy unlimited wine during dinner service.

Day Trips

Together, we’ll explore nearby Zante town, and marvel at St. Mark’s Square and the Agios Dionysios church. You’ll find inspiration in the beautiful Venetian, French, and British influences woven into the town’s fabric. And, of course, let’s not forget to take in the cool breeze from the sunlit beaches.

We’ll also set sail from Porto Vromi, and spend a morning captivated by the coastline’s hidden caves and breathtaking rock formations as we voyage to Navagio Beach, where we’ll observe the Panagiotis shipwreck and the story it tells from the safety of our boat.

We’ll work in acrylic paint and a variety of mixed media tools to create abstract paintings from start to finish. Through mind, body, and soul practices, we will enliven your already established creative practice or offer a start fresh. I will offer insight into the intuitive painting process, including prompts to get your started, tips for expressive mark making, techniques for building layers, lessons in color theory, ways to elevate your value, and contrast, and so much more.

While I'll share plenty of painting tips, techniques, and "rules", I'll also encourage you to break them all. The goal of the retreat is to help you tame your inner critic and release expectations so that you make more instinctual choices and create more freely.
